NEW HIGH COMMISSIONER FOR SRI LANKA

The Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan announces the appointment of Air Vice Marshal (Retd) Shahzad Aslam Chaudhry as High Commissioner of Pakistan to Sri Lanka . His curriculum vitae is as under:

Graduate of Air Command and Staff College . USA .

Graduate of National Defence College , Islamabad .

Master in Science (Defence and Strategic Studies).

Served in various Command/Staff and Instructional appointments during his Air Force career.

Served as Air Attache in High Commission of Pakistan , London 1992-1996.

Officer Commanding F-16 Sqn - 1987-1989

Officer Commanding F-16 Wing - 1996-1997

Base Commander, PAF Base Rafiqui - 2000-2002

Air Officer Commanding Southern Air Command - 2003

He was decorated with Hilal-e-Imtiaz (Military), Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Military), Tamgha-e-Basalat

and Professional Efficiency Badge.

He is married and has five children
