This is the latest picture of the Chief of the Tamil Tiger Rebels, V Prabhakaran taken at an undisclosed location and released by the rebel's peace secretariat on the 15th.
He is seen lighting a lamp in tribute to Thileepan, a rebel leader who started his fast unto death protest on the 15th of September 1987 against Sri Lankan government and Indian military actions.
He died on the 26th of September 1987.
