In response to a question regarding the statement made by the Sri Lankan Minister of Tourism Mr. Anura Bandaranaike in Sri Lankan Parliament alleging that our High Commissioner in Colombo Mrs. Nirupama Rao is interfering in the internal affairs of Sri Lanka, the Official Spokesperson said:“It is not the policy of Government of India and its representative abroad to interfere in the internal affairs of any country.
