Transmission towers of the public sector Power Grid Coporation and the UP state electricity board criss cross Uttar Pradesh taking electricity to homes and factories.

Power outages are common in the state, but if you live in a VIP district or constituency...you can be assured of atleast 14 hours of power supply in a day.
