On the Naini Lake, Nainital

This is Dharma, the guy who took me around the Naini Lake at Nainital.

The views are fantastic...temples, the sunset...the mild drizzle.

He said he earns about 500 rupees a day at the peak of the tourist season.

The lake itself is said to have formed centuries ago after an earthquake in the region and is reported to be about 150 meters deep.
