I have always known Akrita as someone who is extremely focused and devoted about her work.

Akrita is modest and I am sure will never accept the fact, but most of the evolution that zeenews.com has seen over the past few years has been because of her.

I have had the pleasure of working with Akrita at Zee News. I remember coordinating with her while filing report from New York and elsewhere in the USA immediately after the terror attacks on 7/11.

Akrita had given a special section for the reports I was filing then from the USA.

Always a pleasure to interact with the perfectionist Akrita Riyar.
