Asad My Dear Friend

I have known Asad for almost 10 years now. I first met Asad in 1996 when I joined Zee News.

Asad then left Zee a few years later to Join NDTV. But we kept in touch and finally in 2003 I quit Zee and joined NDTV.

Asad had a great sense of humour and is the main brain behind many episodes and clips of "Gustakhi Maaf" on NDTV India. I remember sitting with him while he read out hillarious
lines he had just written for "Gustakhi Maaf."

I would rate Asad as one of the best Anchors on NDTV. His adds his brand of zeal and enthusiasm to every sports bulletin that he reads.

I was a pleasure to go to his house recently for dinner, where I met his brand new daughter and wife Aysha. Asad is a keen stock market watcher and has a sense of investment that is a talent.
